How do I book a session?
Select your service on the booking page, choose an available time, and pay at booking. You will receive a confirmation email with your Google Meet link.

Is there a free consultation?
Yes. A free 15-minute consultation is available for Essay Support services. It is a good starting point if you are unsure what you need or want to talk through whether working together makes sense before committing to a session. Biology Tutoring sessions can be booked directly.

Are weekday sessions available?
Sessions are available on weekends. Weekday sessions are available by request — use the contact form to inquire and I will let you know what is available.

I am not sure which service is right for me. What should I do?
Book the free 15-minute consultation. We will talk through where you are and what would be most helpful.

What platform do we use?
All live sessions take place via Google Meet. You will receive a link in your confirmation email.

What should I have ready before my first session?
For Biology Tutoring: bring your syllabus, any recent exams or quizzes, and your notes or study materials. For Essay Support: come with topic ideas, a draft in progress, or just yourself if you are starting from scratch. There is no wrong place to begin.

How many sessions will I need?
That depends on where you are starting and what you are working toward. I cannot predict or guarantee a specific number. Many students find that one to two sessions provide meaningful momentum. Others prefer ongoing support throughout a semester or application season. There is no minimum commitment beyond what you book.

Can a parent or guardian attend a live session?
Parent or guardian attendance during live sessions is not permitted unless agreed upon in advance in writing. Students attend independently.

How does the Written Essay Review work? After payment, you will receive a link to a short intake form. Submit your essay and answer a few questions about what kind of feedback you are looking for. Essays submitted by Tuesday at 11:59 pm are returned with detailed written feedback by the following Tuesday.

What counts as one review? Is there a word limit? Each Written Essay Review covers one essay up to 650 words — the Common App personal essay maximum. This applies to college essays, scholarship essays, and supplemental responses within that word count. If you are submitting multiple essays, please purchase one review per essay.

Does my essay need to be complete before I submit? Yes. The Written Essay Review is for drafts that already exist. If you do not have a draft yet, a live session is the better starting point.

How will I receive my feedback? Feedback is returned to you by email as a commented document by the following Tuesday.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?
You can cancel or reschedule at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice using the link in your confirmation email. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice forfeit the session fee. One grace exception is offered per client. If I need to cancel, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

How quickly do you respond to messages?
I respond to all inquiries within 24 to 48 hours.

What if my student is under 18?
A parent or guardian must complete a Parental Consent Form before the student's first session. You will receive a link to the form after booking. The session will not take place until the completed form is received.
